Thursday afternoon, Oregon football unveiled the second combination of its new “Generation O” uniforms, which pay homage to the “Gang Green” Ducks from the 1990s.Apple green helmets feature Oregon’s iconic “O” logo in yellow on both sides, just like the Ducks wore from 1999 to 2011 and on special occasions thereafter.Green jerseys feature yellow block numbers outlined in white, as well as contrasting yellow cuffs and a yellow collar featuring a three-dimensional wing pattern at the base.
As with their 2014 Rose Bowl uniforms, the uniforms feature Puddles, the Ducks’ mascot, on the sleeves and stripeless green pants.The Ducks are expected to wear five uniform combinations this season. Last month, the Ducks unveiled an all-black “Fly Era” version, which blended different eras.
